Ryan's a monster. And he's got no problem with that. If anyone sane knew what he was, and didn't immediately flee in fear, they might ask if he feels lonely, being forced to hide such a big part of himself. But he doesn't. He takes pleasure in his ability to deceive people so completely. And he has friends, or at least people whom he pretends to be friends with. It's not as though he were some two-bit loser, ambushing people on hiking trails, because he doesn't have to guts to actually talk to them, and kill when they think he can be trusted. And yet, Ryan's MO does betray a need for personal contact.
But all of this is only set up for the plot that I'm pitching here. My idea is that Ryan meets and seduces a very shy, awkward, but cute-in-a-geeky-way guy. He and Ryan go out a couple of times, and they're all great, to the point that he takes Ryan home to do the nasty. And just as Ryan's getting ready to do a very different sort of nasty, he finds that he just can't make himself choke the poor boy.
Of course, Ryan is very upset by all this, and leaves immediately, and kills a hooker on his way home, but still, gets no relief. What's going on? Is he actually feeling something for this whelp of a boy? Only time will tell...
