basic history:
being born in liverpool meant many things, but to keep it simple, it meant that he wouldn't have the best life. liverpool was no new york city - far from it, actually. he was born into a family of middle-class wealth. he is the oldest child of the linda and ashton novarro's, but only years after his birth, his little sister was born. ever since birth, ashton (the III, you could say) was an intelligent boy. he had always been interested in science, but his main interest was focused on one thing: boats. this wasn't surprising, especially since his father ran a boat-related shop. it was only expected that he'd take a liking for boats and sailing. in fact, his father was glad that his only son was interested in the same things as he was. there was no hesitation when his father began to recruit him as an employee of the shop - after all, it was a family business. ashton began to inspect boats for any damage that had been inflicted on it during sails, and it was usually every weekend that he had the chance to go sailing with his father in the irish sea. within five years of working at the shop, he had learned many things about boats and sailing.
so was it any surprise that when he turned eighteen, he left? no, not to his parents. he was an adult at that age and he had planned to go exploring. perhaps he would go the states to see what all of the hype was out. the liverpudlians couldn't get enough of the americans, and ashton was determined to find out why. upon his travel to america, he met somebody. a girl. grace. upon meeting, they had instantly kicked it off. they sailed all the way to the states and when they hit land, they wasted no time in getting to know each other better. they dated for a short period of time, and around three weeks into the relationship, he heard news of his fathers stroke. without one word, ashton had packed up his things and sailed back to europe, grace-less.
thankfully, his father was okay but the doctor told him that his father would need plenty of rest. during his fathers bed rest period, ashton was in charge of the shop and he was officially the man of the house. he managed the shop for a good two months before his father finally gained the strength to return things to normal. he was an old man, and it took him longer to recover than usual. fearful of his father's health, ashton stuck around longer to make sure that everything would be alright. his mother and sister assisted in looking after his father, but ashton felt as if it was his duty because he was the only son. so, for a year, he stuck around, taking care of the shop and his family. once everything was settled down, he decided to go back to the states. he landed on the coast of new york city, and this brings us to present time.
