He's not that bad, he's like my brother. Abel has been watching out for me since I got here. So? I wasn't about to end up like you tied down to someone I wasn't in love with. Not going to get forced into a marriage that I didn't want at all. I am home. New York is my home. And I'm sorry! I would have sent you letters but I didn't want our parents to find me! Clara, I'm content with living here. I've got a family that isn't trying to force me to marry anyone, and they treat me well. It was the best choice I could have made at such a young age to run away.
