bethany skylar cambell
so so this is the interview application application. explain your character through a series of conventional and unconventional questions.
BASICS
what is your full name? nicknames? age? birthday?:
"my full name is bethany skylar cambell. you can call me beth, just don't come up with any other stupid nicknames. don't call me bethykins or anything like that unless you want a seven inch heel to your head, deal? i'm twenty four years old. my birthday was last month, so august 5th"
are you a brookwell high school student or a university student? oh, oops, are you a local or a teacher? if you are a teacher or a local, what is your job?:
"i'm a tourist, i guess. though, i'm not here to check the place out. trust me, if it was up to me, i would want to be anywhere but new york - due to personal reasons... but, it's for the job. i'm a lawyer."
how boring. let's get into the juice stuff, are you taken? married? in love? or are you single and free? and are you happy with your relationship status?:
"i'm divorced, thank god. it's been just about a year since then.... judging by the fact that i said 'thank god' about my relationship status, yes, i am happy with it. it would have been horrible for both of us if we stayed in that marriage."
where were you born? are you an american citizen or do you have citizenship in other countries as well? and what is your background, like your family background?:
"yes i am an american citizen. i'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA. no, i do not have citizenship in any other countries. my parents: my mother was from boston before, and my father was born in california but he ended up moving around a lot. they were both working in pittsburgh when they met so i guess they decided to stay there to raise a family."
whats a typical day like for you? like, take us through your morning routine? do you even eat breakfast, you know it's the most important meal of the day, right?
"a typical day? uhm.. that's an odd question to ask.. but, i wake up, brush my teeth, take a shower, get dressed, get something quick to eat for breakfast if i'm not late, go to work... this is sounding pretty fucking boring right now, isn't it? you asked though. anyway.. after work.. well i guess it depends on what i want to do. that changes a lot based on my mood. there's days when i'm energized and i go out. and then there's those days when the only thing i want to do is go home.. or have to go home to work on some cases."

POINT OF VIEW
what is your opinion on love?:
"it's a bitch. enough said."
what is your opinion on family?:
"family is important. but i guess it depends on what kind of family you have. some people have a pretty messed up family - and that can be separated into two different categories, a) the type that you can fix. or b) the type that you honestly can't fix and you're better off without. and then of course, there's the families that are always happy."
what is your opinion on soul mates?:
"i'm not the right person to ask this question to."
what is your opinion on violence?:
"... didn't i just threaten you with a heel a few minutes ago?"
what is your opinion on truth; does it even exist?:
"it exists. but does that mean that people are honest? no. should they be? i suppose so. it's better to just tell the truth then build up a whole bunch of lies, but i won't lie right now and say that i've never lied before. or that i never will lie again."
LOVE LIFE
what was your last relationship?:
"ex husband."
who was the last person in your bed?:
"uhmm.. some guy. he was a clients brother, actually. you don't need to know the name"
who was your first kiss?:
"this guy named alec hawthorne."
who was your first love?:
"josh - i mean, joshua hans.. can we just get away from all these questions about love, please?"
what's your biggest turn on? turn off?
"wouldn't you like to know.. how about we just keep this part personal, hm?"
what exactly is your "type"? what do you look for in the opposite..or the same sex? are you heterosexual or homosexual?
"i'm heterosexual. my type? i need a guy with confidence. because those shy guys just don't do it for me. oh, someone that i'll actually want to be around. and, lastly, someone that will actually listen to me."

FAMILY

how close are you to your family?:
"i'm close to both of my parents. well, more closer to my mom now because my dad married this awful woman. i'm sorry, but my stepmother annoys me. we get along sometimes, but those are days when she's acting like a normal human being, other than that there's times when i would rather not be around her at all."
who are you closest to in your family?:
"my mother. she's amazing. "
who can't you stand in your family? it's okay, we won't tell anyone:
"i just told you this, genius. my stepmother. you can tell her all you want, she already knows it."
what is your relationship like with your mother? father?:
"mother: amazing. father: pretty good, most of the time unless me and my stepmother get into it. of course he would take her side most of the time"
how old were your parents when they met? how old was your mother when she had you?
"uhm. i think they met when they were nineteen. they met, had sex, parted ways and then my mother had me when she was twenty. and then they just sort of decided to try and make it work."
THIS OR THAT
fight or flight?:
"fight. i'm not one to back out, but hey, that's why i have the perfect job for me, right?"

"dog. they're adorable. i had one when i was a kid named Trix... and, i want to get one now that i've moved here."
library or club?:
"both. i mean, club for fun, but library if i need to do research on something."
