[/font][/size]He’s a classic heartthrob, Dimitri Levin. Dreamy eyes, medieval hair style, a mysterious air, he certainly is a sight for viewing eyes; especially paying, viewing eyes. He was born in the heart of London, England to a brute of a man and a lovely Russian wife. No, he didn’t grow up in the slums begging for bread off of the street, he had a good deal more privilege then most, which is exactly why they could afford sending him to a nice private school. That is where he had quietly earned a respect for theatre, moving on to a passion for it. Don’t check him off as a conceited narcissist though, not once did he let it go to his ego. Teenaged years are normally ages of arrogance, with no sense of responsibility, while Dimitri developed a high maturity level at a considerably young age.
Dimitri was born extraordinarily ambitious and has always believed that he could achieve his goals with ease, which in turn has not made him arrogant, but rather lethargic. He tends to be lazy quite a bit. He reasons out his goals and accomplishes them with out hesitation. Dimitri is reserved, but straight forward. He's solitary and autonomous, but he's not anti social in the clinical meaning of the word. He is not merely independent, he truly does not want, or more importantly need anyone else. Most people seek out friendship, intimacy, and acceptance. Dimitri doesn't require any of these things.
He's entirely human though. He feels love, depressed, excited, surprised, and it doesn't mean that he can't enjoy companionship!
His solitary disposition could come off as a bit of a contradiction to his love of being on set and acting. But it is really something that gets him out and enjoying himself and the people around him.
Underneath that bastard exterior can lie a much more childish side, a side of Dimitri that can show when he gets very close to someone, tired, or if he's sick. Then Dimitri starts to act more like an immature teenager then his normally collected self. I mean, what true bastard likes spongebob? Also, he looses his cool if he becomes flustered, especially if he is deceived.
He has a different angle to him though, a cynical and witty point of view. Especially when you talk to him. Dimitri never fails to have something smart assed to say, even in good humor. Dimitri also loves to tease, so interviewers beware. You may never get a straight-laced answer from him.
Though his career as a pin-up actor was going extremely well, the loss of his mother to breast cancer put a damper on his spirit. After his father had died in a drunk driving accident when Dimitri was much younger, he really began to help take care of his mother. Losing her was a blow to the before 'momma's boy' which caused his to take a break from any scheduled public appearances, or acting of any sort. He relocated into a tiny flat hidden in NYC, close to a college and not to far from a highschool. He keeps a comfortable low-profile life, experimenting with his other passions such as cooking, playing his guitar to himself and enjoying a nice beer.
