arista van k is first and foremost, an artist. she writes, plays music, draws, paints, mosaics, sews/knits and just about anything else that could fit under the umbrella of "art". she's observant but is usually spaced-out due to the potent mixture of incense and weed. she's a hippie by nature, indulging in the simpler things in life. arista is also really odd, for the lack of a better word - perhaps a side-effect from her mild bipolarism. when i say weird, i mean... really off-the-hook, plain, all-out strange. she can be serious, but that's underneath all of her very noticeable quirks.

friends predominately male. she gives her closest amigos names to do with animals ( e.g. story is cat ). she just seems to click better with guys, and becomes extremely jealous of those close to her. trust me, it's a miracle that any of her guyfriends have ever gotten girlfriends. she rarely gets along with girls, but there is room for one or two girlfriends. she is the sort to have a few friends with benefits, you know, just to keep the moths out of her vag. ( LOL DEE IF YOU'RE READING THIS )

enemies would be people that she's annoyed with her whacked-out attitude, mostly the girlfriends of boys she's friends with, due to the possessiveness. however she's pretty anti-confrontation/conflict so she'd probably just scratch your character's car, break his/her garden gnomes and leave it at that. guerrilla warfare at its finest.

lovers mainly men. she's heterosexual but with a slight kink. any women would have to fit her criteria - dark haired and european. i don't see her following through on any female crushes, but i assume there will be some. she's got a bit of a fear of committing, so flings will be many and often. any potential final would have to be as quirky as her or level-headed enough to keep her feet on the ground.

rylee & arista - best frands! I say that because well rylee is a bit off and she's a professional artist.they'd make a nice pair of frands, sure rylee wouldn't like her and the weed but no friend is perfect.

jackson & arista - friends as well. he's fun and outgoing always on the move never wanting to stay in one place. he hasn't been in new york long due to his band breaking up, but they could have ran into one another, jackson pulled some type of joke and they have been chatting and being frands ever since.
