I grew up in a normal home, my parents wanted to have me and were married when my mom got pregnant. They didn’t fight with each other or have any real issues. They were good people and they raised me right, I learned from a young age that you can’t always get what you want and you have to work to get things…though they taught me by giving me chores not sending me out to get a job obviously. I didn’t have forgotten birthdays and they only had me though they tried to have another kid when I was about five I guess? I knew that when they said no it was a final answer not a suggestion and I learned right from wrong. In school I wasn’t the most popular but I wasn’t ignored either and I didn’t get in a lot of trouble. I got decent grades and enjoyed learning but wasn’t a nerd. I found my love of music when I was thirteen and started learning to play guitar and I write my own music.
The biggest event in my life is what happened not too long ago. I went to a party with my boyfriend and I got drunk for the first time ever. I figured it was one of those things most kids try at least once right? Well yeah…I ended up sleeping with someone else at the party, I don’t even know who it was but I do know that the baby I’m pregnant with now is not his. I didn’t mean for it to happen, but I’m sure everyone says that when stuff like this happens right? Anyway my mother was worried about me because I’ve been feeling sick and took me to the doctor’s to see what it was because she couldn’t believe it was what it seemed like…and she was right in what she thought first. When my father found out I was pregnant he flipped shit…in a bigger than life way. He was not a happy camper when he learned about this and neither was my mother. They don’t speak to me anymore, they haven’t yet kicked me out but it’s like I’m a ghost in the house…like I don’t exist. My boyfriend dumped me when I told him I was pregnant…I have to admit I saw that coming. Now I’m just trying to make it through my senior year and figure out what the hell I’m going to do about all of this, I don’t know if I want to keep the baby or give it up for adoption and really I have no one I can talk to so just like it’s all my fault…it’s all my problem to sort out without help.
