leonidas, andino, dimitriou
so so this is the interview application application. explain your character through a series of conventional and unconventional questions.
BASICS
what is your full name? nicknames? age? birthday?:
"Well aren't you nosy little bugger... Anyway I am Leonidas Andino Dimitriou; pleasure to meet you. I prefer to be called Leo, thank you. Hmmn', well I was born on January 2nd, 1990. That makes me twenty-one years old."
are you a brookwell high school student or a university student? oh, oops, are you a local or a teacher? if you are a teacher or a local, what is your job?:
"Do I look like a high school student? Hmph. I'm obviously a university student. If you'd care to know, I'm currently majoring in Teaching. My minor is Business Administration, so I may move up to Administration within a school after a few years of teaching."
how boring. let's get into the juice stuff, are you taken? married? in love? or are you single and free? and are you happy with your relationship status?:
"Well, this interview isn't exactly my idea of entertainment. Well aren't we getting a little personal. I am currently single and independent. I'm perfectly satisfied with my status. If I may find a relationship along the way, then I won't turn the opportunity down. But I'm not planning on putting myself out there. I'm just not a desperate guy. -Shrug- I just go with the flow, baby."
where were you born? are you an american citizen or do you have citizenship in other countries as well? and what is your background, like your family background?:
"So I was born in Souda Bay, Greece. It's an overseas United States military base, so I'm fortunately a legal citizen of both countries. My mother is Greek and my father is American. The majority of our customs are American, seeing as my father is a very stubborn and traditional person. However, on special occasions, my mother will make Greek dishes for our family. Sometimes we'll also fly out overseas to celebrate festivals and holidays in my homeland. The majority of the time we are permitted to embrace our background, so long as it doesn't conflict with my father's terms and conditions."
whats a typical day like for you? like, take us through your morning routine? do you even eat breakfast, you know it's the most important meal of the day, right?
"Oh, wow. First you ask for my name, age, birthplace, and now my daily schedule... I'm slightly worried that you're planning out my murder. -Laughs- I'm only kidding. I'll try to keep this one short. So on a normal day, I wake up around two in the morning to get read at work at three. I drive back from work to my apartment around twelve in the afternoon, eat lunch, then relax for an hour or two before I go to night classes. On the weekends I'll go home and visit my family. It's not a complex schedule. Just exhausting."

POINT OF VIEW
what is your opinion on love?:
"Just a simple one. Some people fall lightly into love. Some fall hard. For me, I've yet to find that sensation. I never rush into things, and I haven't had a lot of girlfriends anyway. The right one will come along one day."
what is your opinion on family?:
"I am a big family man. Family is absolutely important to me. I have two sisters and a brother, all being younger than me. As much as we fight and disagree, we are all protective of each other. Hopefully, when I finish college and I have my career established, I can settle down and have a large family. I want two little girls and two boys. I also will work to the best of my ability to keep my immediate and extended family within reach."
what is your opinion on soul mates?:
"I don't believe in soul mates. For me, a relationship takes time and effort. There's not a perfect 'other half' that fills and completes you. If there are issues that you're not willing to work out, no matter how 'perfect' you think they are, the relationship will go no where."
what is your opinion on violence?:
"Violence is completely unnecessary. You don't want me to get into this, though. It's like getting into politics. I'm a pacifist, and I'll leave it at that."
what is your opinion on truth; does it even exist?:
"Hmmn', truth is one of the most important thing in all types of relationships. Family, friends, lovers, co-workers, and so on. Although at the same time, honesty only exists to an extent. I consider dishonesty to include hiding the truth, even if you may not exactly lie about it. In that case, everyone is dishonest. A girl may see a guy and say that he's cute (and vice-versa for men), but of course she's not going to come home to her boyfriend and tell him she was checking another guy out. It's harmless, and not necessary. While there sometimes is not enough truth, there are circumstances where there is too much."
LOVE LIFE
what was your last relationship?:
"My last relationship? This girl, named Helen, back in Greece. We carried a long-distance relationship for about eighteen months, when it became too difficult to visit each other within college schedules. We still talk to each other and keep each other up-to-date on events. We're friends, and she makes it very clear that it will stay that way. Honestly, I refuse to except that we will never be able to start over."
who was the last person in your bed?:
"Again, Helen. I'm not lucky enough to have girls all over my arm. As if that matters. I'm not sex-driven. Helen was my first. Let's leave it at that, please."
who was your first kiss?:
"My best friend back in my freshman year off high school. Her name is disclosed, but she was a tomboy. She kissed me to prove to a group of guys that she was straight. Not exactly an emotional or memorable moment for me."
who was your first love?:
"Like I said, I haven't fallen into love at this point in my lifetime. Don't get me wrong, I have loved Helen and still do. But I do not believe I had fallen into love with her. I can move on without hard feelings, and stay nothing more than friends. Better to have her as a friend than not have her at all."
what's your biggest turn on? turn off?
"Turn off is definitely persistent dishonesty. You don't have to tell me everything, I understand the aspect of privacy. But don't lie to me. I don't take it very lightly. However, experienced and mature women who are not clingy is an absolute plus."
what exactly is your "type"? what do you look for in the opposite..or the same sex? are you heterosexual or homosexual?
"Uh... type? Well, to begin, I am heterosexual. Like stated before, I like mature women. Intelligent, humorous, and free-spirited. Someone who's not afraid to settle down, but doesn't rush into things. And doesn't get anxious all of the time. That one's a biggie."
FAMILY

how close are you to your family?:
"Well, with a few previous answers, I'm sure that you can predict that I'm really close with my family. I love them, and I know that I'll always have their support no matter what. Even my extended family."
who are you closest to in your family?:
"Definitely my brother. He looks up to me, and I don't want to disappoint him. We always do simple things; throw a football, go fishing, play video games, and talk about life."
who can't you stand in your family? it's okay, we won't tell anyone:
"At times, my father. Sometimes he doesn't respect my mother's Greek customs, and keeps us from 'those sorts of things'. As his children, I believe we should be allowed to explore the Greek culture a bit more. Being older permits me to have more freedom, but I respect him and do not want to push his buttons."
what is your relationship like with your mother? father?:
"My mother and I get along very well. I love hearing about stories from her childhood, and learning about the different standards in Greece. When I was little, she used to secretly teach me Greek phrases. Anyway, my relationship with my father is fair. He's a tough, ex-Naval Officer guy. Yet he's always there when I need to talk, guy-to-guy."
how old were your parents when they met? how old was your mother when she had you?
"My mother was twenty-two and my father was twenty-three when they met. I was conceived when they were at that age, and was born when my mother was twenty-three."

SELF
tell us something that you want to change about yourself?
"Definitely my patience levels. I tend to get frustrated and stressed rather easily, and then angry. I also wish I didn't hold grudges, and I'm trying to work on it. But it's hard to forgive other people when you can't forgive yourself."
everyone has a big achievement, what's yours? what's your biggest regret?
"My biggest achievement is going to college. I never thought I'd live to make it this far, but I have. And I've given myself the motivation to make something of myself. My biggest regret is definitely avoiding the situation between my mother and father. I want to stand up for Mom, but I'm afraid of the outcome."
did you see yourself having this kind of life five years ago? where do you think you will be in five or even ten years from now?
"Five years ago, I wasn't thinking about my future. I was thinking of ways to become more popular, even though I failed. Five to ten years from now, I hope I'll be establishing myself as a citizen and settling down into my own life. Maybe starting a family of my own."
anything else that you feel we should know about you? any dirty little secrets?
"Wouldn't you like to know? -Chuckles- I've got nothing to hide."
